Sculpture from the Heart

8/1/2022 6:41:22 PM

Just a note about my new cast bronze sculpture, "The Bribe".

This piece measures 25x12x9.  I was inspired by my daughter Beth, who loves all things canine.

She has been known to pick up strays and deliver them to the Vet for check up, vaccines and shampooing.

Then the process of finding the lost owner.  Beth also modeled for, "The Bribe".

This piece just evolved.  It started out as a standing figure with a very different pose.  The pooch came much

later and was a stand alone sculpture that I decided to incorporate with "my girl".  Because of the way I did

this, I think I can put any dog breed into this piece.

Let me know what you think.

Acquiring Paintings

9/22/2020 7:32:38 PM

I was in Arizona last week and a young friend purchased an estate sale.  The paintings were not to the buyers liking so I made an offer.

They appear to be old European and I look forward to researching.  I believe they are from either the Netherlands or Germany (not sure).

If anyone has any knowledge, please help me out.

The Gallery still remains closed and I can't wait for events to resume in our little corner of the world.  I continue to sculpt and always have a couple of projects in the works.  I'll share progress a bit later.

For now, a sneak peek at one of these paintings.
